Superbly situated in a strategic and panoramic position, the traditional multi-unit TRULLI CAVALLERIZZA “L’ANTICO GELSO BIANCO” (“the old white mulberry-tree”) combines a relaxing holiday in its peaceful location not far from the sea with the discovery of cultural and gastronomic traditions. Overlooking the spectacular scenery of the four villages of Ostuni - “the white town”, Cisternino - one of the most charming Italian borgos, Martina Franca – “the festival town”, and Ceglie Messapica – the town of art and gastronomic land, the trulli - traditional Apulian stone dwellings with conic roof - offer a romantic atmosphere. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the swimming pool and solarium from May to October and of the surrounding well-kept meadows any time, taste the natural and genuine products of the orchard and the garden, make your own bread in the antique stone oven. Bike around the surrounding hills and play bowls and 5-a-side football with your friends. At harvest time take part in the harvesting and the crushing of olives and taste the flavour of their fully natural oil.
The trulli are detached self-contained double-bed rooms with a kitchenette and a closet with wardrobe and bathroom
You can choose either to spend a day on the Adriatic coast, only 15 kms away, with its fully equipped beaches, stunning cliffs and WWF marine sanctuaries, or to relax on the golden bays and crystal-clear waters of the Ionic coast, 35 kms away, or you can decide to find your own itinerary among the several ones which the hinterland offers

 By air Brindisi airport at about 40 kms – Bari airport at about 75 kms  By train Railway Milan-Lecce. Arrival station Cisternino. Rental cars at the station.  By car Take motorway A4 Adriatica to Bari, then freeway N. 379 to Brindisi-Lecce, exit Pezze di Greco-Cisternino. Follow direction to Cisternino. Then follow direction to Ceglie Messapica: at 4 kms from Cisternino, on the county road to Ceglie, you’ll find the road-sign C.da Cavallerizza.

Che piacevole ricordo per me e mia figlia, una settimana di assoluto relax in un contesto davvero da lasciare senza fiato. Ospitalità perfetta in un atmosfera di piacevole cordialità con i gestori, che alla fine della vacanza ritrovi quasi vecchi amici. Sicuramente un posto dove ritornare anche con i nostri animali. Grazie ancora per un momento perfetto trascorso all'insegna della semplicità nel ritrovare antichi sapori in un ambiente di inattesa famigliarità

This was one of the best holidays we've ever had. a beautiful little hidden paradise off the beaten track. The owners Enrico and Tiziana are so friendly and couldn't have helped us enough.
A perfect quiet get away for a young couple in need of relaxation. we loved it.
