Enjoy the serenity of the hiking trails along the Kankamangus Highway and wade in the Pemigawasset river on a hot afternoon, spend the day at Whale’s Tail Water Park or at Story Land or at Clark’s Trading Post and take in a bear show or maybe in the evening attend an auto race or go on a moose sighting tour. For the more adventurous there is mountain biking, hunting, fishing, kayaking and zip line. If shopping is your thing, two major outlet malls are less than an hour away and skiing……….less than 1 ½ miles to the main entrance of the Loon Mountain Ski Area with complementary shuttle service both to and from.
