Relax on the covered front porch swing where you can catch a glimpse of the deer and turkey that frequent the property. The Schaefer House sits on one of the most scenic 65 acres in the Laurel Highlands and the walking trails overlook the most spectacular views of Sugarloaf Mountain!

The Schaefer House offers privacy, a Fruit Orchard with Apples, Pears, Peaches, Plums, Grapes, Persimmons, Blueberries, fire pit, wishing well and grill. The fully equipped kitchen includes full size stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, utensils. Also includes Washer & Dryer, All towels and bed linens, TV/DVD player, and Stone wood burning Fireplace in Family Room. The Schaefer House comfortably sleeps 8.

Ohiopyle State Park offers Hiking, Biking, Rock Climbing, Whitewater rafting and kayaking. Comments:

Nice home very close to the state park.Picture's are a little deceiving in that the home is close to the main road and close to another rental property.Lucky for us the other rental property was still under construction,so we did not have any neighbors.The queen bed needs replaced very noisy and uncomfortable.Some downstairs shades would also be nice for night time.Forget about phone service.We did meet the property owner who was very nice and informative.

Comments:

Loved the location, less than five minutes away from downtown Ohiopyle. There are many hidden treasures in that area, especially if you're willing to take a short hike to the hilltop -- the view is incredible! Service staff are always extremely nice and always willing to help.
