Welcome to the Web site of our Holiday home in Lucainena De Las Torres located at the base of the Sierra Alham

The general area is richly agricultural and vineyards of sweet white grapes.
Lucainena is a typical village of the area - winding streets of whitewashed houses occupied by friendly Spanishfamilies - many of whom work in the olive, almond and fruit farms that surround the village.
Lucainena has – small shop in the Centre, banks, medical facilities, hotel,municipal swimming pool (Summer Season only) friendly bars and inexpensive restaurants.
Our house is a fully air conditioned situated at the bottom of the village over looking the mountains,consists of 3 Bedroom for 6 persons, Two bathrooms lounge, fully fitted kitchen, sun terrace free to air satallite. A 30 minute drive from Lucainena brings us to the delightful beachside resorts of Mojácar. Carboneras, and Garrucha – both are relatively unexploited and have picturesque fishing ports and miles of safe sandy beaches. Golfers will be pleased to know that Vera Golf Course can be reached in under an hour from Lucainena. Another local point of interest is Mini Hollywood - which is a 15 minute drive away. This is a mock western town where ‘shoot-outs’ are a feature of the daily shows. During the winter months the ski resort of Sol y Nieve close to Granada offers every kind of snow sport. Interesting day trips include Historic Granada and the provincial Capital Almeria. With in a ten minute drive is the Almeria Race track, where all the leading motorcycle manufactures practice.

Directions:

Directions from Almeria Airport by Car After arriving at Almeria Airport, pick up your Hire Car (all the Rental Companies are in the Baggage receiving area). When you collect your luggage the car park opposite the main entrance will be where all the Rental Cars are parked. Follow exit out of Airport, first roundabout go straight, with in a short distance another roundabout go under the bridge AL-12, roundabout will be sign posted Almeria/Murcia A-7 E-15. Continue along this road until you reach junction 456 A-7 E -15, turn left onto A -17,carry along motorway until next junction 453, sign posted Granada A-92 turn right. Proceed north until you reach junction 376 sign posted Tabernas/Sorbas N-340a, you will see Mini Hollywood approx half a mile on the right.Travel for approx 15 miles until you reach the right turning to Lucainena De Las Torres AL3107. As you enter the main street of the Village you will see a Bus Stop on the right, opposite is a left turning, go down this road and take the second left. Our property is No 11........
