Nestled on a little over a half acre of privacy, just twenty minutes from Provincetown, is a perfect little vintage cottage for rent. Our quaint cottage is in a quiet, natural setting in a residential neighborhood (one of the best in North Eastham), yet it affords easy access to Route 6 (less than a ½ mile away) along with all the conveniences that offers; general store, tasty seafood shanties, flea market, drive in theater , etc.
From our cottage it is just a short ½ mile stroll down a sandy knoll to Cooks Brooks Beach - a beautiful bay beach with warmer waters and huge flats at low tide. Two beautiful national seashore beaches, Nauset Light and Coast Guard (rated one of the Top Ten beaches in the country!), are just under 2 miles from our cottage. Should you choose to leave the car behind for the week it’s a very safe bike ride but if you prefer to drive , you can use our Seasonal Beach Pass to get into any Eastham beach for free during your stay. Additionally, the Cape Cod Rail Trail (24 miles of paved biking & hiking that extends from Dennis to Wellfleet) and the Wellfleet Drive-In theater/flea market are all just minutes away- literally.
Our cottage is freshly painted and contains three bedrooms; one with a queen-size bed, one with a full sized bed ad one with two twins & a trundle. It sleeps a maximum of six people. There is a full-size bath with a tiled shower/tub and a wonderful (enclosed & very private!) shower with hot and cold water outside, next to the deck. The house is very comfortably furnished, has ceiling fans in every room and offers a very quaint yet fully-equipped kitchen with everything from lobster pot to Martini glasses …. truly everything you could need is here!
Our living room area offers you a TV/DVD, and a stereo along with some really comfy furnishings. Our cottage has heat for those sometime chilly off-season nights and a beautiful gas fireplace insert- a flip of a switch and Wa-La- romance!
Outside, in the tree lined backyard, enjoy the private patio or screened in mahogany porch with dining for 8 ,for your evening of grilling & dining. You’ll also have access to our fenced perennial garden which includes strawberries & blackberries for your breakfast or summer desserts.
Bottom line is…. as we like to say….”it’s all here & if it’s it not here, then we don’t need it!” We do truly believe you’ll find everything you could want in our wonderful Little Cottage by the Sea. Just bring your sheets, towels and bathing suits and we’re sure you’ll have a memorable, relaxing vacation. This is our dream come true & it pleases us to be able to share a bit of it with you!
