The Beach House is a fantastic vacation home from home. It has been tastefully remodelled and is the perfect place for a wonderful relaxing vacation. It is located directely on the beach with fabulous views from its large shaded porch. The garden area has palm trees for shade and a wall with gate for privacy.

You enter the house through the new kitchen extension. The kitchen has been tiled in local hand painted Talavera tiles It contains a 6 burner stove top, a full sized refrigerator, a microwave, a large toaster oven and a coffee maker. It also comes with crockery, cutlery etc.

The large lounge and dining room contains a dining table and six chairs, hand made from local wood. A three seater sofa, a love seat and chair. It also has cable TV and WIFI internet. However it is the fantastic view of the beach and the water from the room sized patio windows that will keep you mesmerized.

The guest bedr...oom has two double beds, hand made from local wood. A dressing table and a wardrobe. It has two large windows with shutters and a door to the courtyard.

The master bedroom features a king sized bed, hand made from local wood. A dressing table and wardrobe. The view of the beach and the Gulf from this room are wonderful and it is a delight to fall asleep to the sound of the waves against the shore. This room also has a fabulous en suite bathroom, tiled in local limestone tiles.

The main bathroom has a large shower area and is again tiled in local limestone tiles.The Beach House is suitable for 6 people. All rooms have original hammock hooks. Most rooms have ceiling fans

Casa Rosa is located about five minutes from Chelem square on the Progreso side of the town, We are just in behind the Glorietta on the beach road.

Directions:

You can fly directly to Cancun from most major airports or if you chose you can fly to Merida. You can get a bus directly to Merida from Cancun. From the Cancun airport, either take the shuttle bus or taxi to the main bus terminal down town. From here you can jump on either the ADO www.adogl.com.mx/en/index/htm or the UNO www.uno.com.mx/english/index These are luxury buses with fully reclining seats and free drinks. The cost is about $30, or £20 each way. The schedules are very regular. Another option is to hire a car at the Cancun airport. We have used easyway and they are very good. http://www.easywayrentacar.com/index.php . Make sure you fill up with gas before the trip. From the Cancun airport, take the main toll road to Merida, then follow the signs for Progreso. From Progreso, follow the signs to Chelem. There is now a new bridge that takes you directly to Yucalpeten. Here, you will see a small police station on the round-about, or "glorietta." From here, you need to get onto the beach road. You will see a sign for the Si'an Kh'an Hotel. If you follow the sign, you will see a big pink building that is Casa Rosa. Total travel time is approximately 4 Hours.
