The Baldwin Cabin is a very charming Bavarian Style 3 bedroom cottage nestled in among the pine trees. Perfect seclusion! Just step out back through the sliding glass doors to a beautiful peaceful stream that continuously flows behind the cabin. Firepit between the stream & cabin. Explore the surrounding woods. Very tranquil, relaxing environment!
This cabin comes fullly furnished and is very nicely decorated. Amenities include: utensils, cookware, griddle, electric skillet, toaster, coffee pot, blender, food chopper, dining & glassware, silverware, a few dish towels & blankets, some hand and dish soap. All you need to bring is your pillows, bed linens, bath towels & food.
This delightful cabin sleeps 8 comfortably with 3 full size beds & 2 twin beds. There is a laundry/mud room with washer and dryer, kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave and plenty of cupboard space. Dining room, 2 bathrooms (1 upstairs with tub, 1 downstairs with stand up shower) and four TVs: 3 with dvd & vcr player. Central heat, no phone.
The cottage is located in the small town of Harrison (Gladwin mailing address) just off Cranberry Lake Rd. 1/2 hour north of Gladwin and 1/2 hour south of all-sports Houghton Lake. Enjoy Summer & Fall recreation at Wilson State Park just 20 minutes west or head up to Higgins and Houghton Lake for year round recreation. Dodge City is about 10 minutes away where you can find a Marathon & Sunoco gas station as well as grocery items. Soaring Eagle Casino is about 45 minutes away.
We are renting our cabin at the Fall rate of: $1000 per week (7nts). We also rent for fewer nights. Our rates are:
