Casa Haizea is a beautiful, spacious, fully-furnished home near the ocean in Trujillo, Peru. This vacation rental offers the luxury of a fine hotel, along with the comfort of your own private living and dining spaces. The home has 7 bedrooms, 9 beds, 2 fully functional kitchen and 6 bathrooms. Up to 17 people can sleep here comfortably and enjoy the fresh, airy breezes and the sound of the waves crashing on the beach.

You will feel right at home with amenities that include hotel-quality mattresses and bedding (the sheets are at least 300-count), LCD TV’s, computer and WIFI, local telephone and Magic Jack service for unlimited calls to/from the U.S. There is also a washing machine for your convenience and the “dryer” is the fresh ocean breeze on an outdoor clothes line.

The kitchen boasts modern appliances which include refrigerator/freezer, gas stove and oven, electric grill and microwave. You will also find all of the dishes, utensils, glasses, mugs and kitchen gadgets that you will need.

Located next to a park in a safe, residential area of Trujillo, you will have privacy, security and the ease of walking to the Pacific Ocean and to Larco Ave for transportation purposes. Taxis are readily available, at very reasonable prices, to take you downtown for shopping, site-seeing, dining out, and to enjoy it's atmosphere. You can also find daily tours to some of the area's most enjoyable sites.

Several of Peru’s most beautiful and interesting sites are just minutes away by taxi or bus. Huanchaco beach, a haven for surfers, is only 10-15 minutes from home and is famous for its “caballitos de totora” which are fishing boats made entirely from reeds. Huanchaco is also known for its “ceviche” which is a delicious plate made of fresh fish, cooked in lime, and sweet potatoes. The ruins of Chan Chan and the Temples of the Sun and Moon are also within a 20- minute drive.

Another local attraction, just a few blocks from home, is the famous Peruvian Dressage Horses (Caballos Peruanos de Paso). They are very unique and bred for their soft-walking ability that causes the rider to remain almost motionless. For $6.00 you can watch their performance and have an opportunity to ride and take pictures.

Our home is the perfect site for couples celebrating their honeymoon, large or small groups of tourists, family reunions, or any other group that plans to stay where the atmosphere is home-like, safe and accommodating. Inside of our home is a no-smoking zone and pets are not allowed in order to keep it clean and inviting. Children are welcome, as are senior citizens. However, the home is not wheelchair accessible.

This home is very special to us. We are Jonah and Carmen Anderson. Carmen grew up in this wonderful home with her parents and siblings. Currently, all family members live in other areas, so we are offering to share its comfort and beauty with visitors to Peru. It was an absolute delight to stay at this property. The owners Jonah & Carmen were extremely accomodating from the moment first contact was made and would definately recommend the accomodation to anyone visiting Trujillo. I am an Australian citizen but married to a Peruvian, we decided to take our extended family to Trujillo to visit more family for 4 nights. There was a party of 12 travelling, we arrived in Trujillo at 6:00am from Lima and the owners were aware of this. Knowing that no shops would be open Jonah and Carmen had organised breakfast for us at the house, thanks guys! The house itself was very clean, secure, comfortable, large (could easily fit more people) and had everything you could ask for. The park directly across the road was ideal for the kids. Although not located in the center of town it was not an issue as taxis are extremely cheap and the main road goes direct to the center, about a 5-10 min taxi ride. The way the house is set up with 2 floors (kitchens and bathrooms on both floors) the home caters to anyone being a couple, small family or in our case a large one. It's obvious that the owners are proud of their home and want people to enjoy their stay. Thanks again hopefully we will be contacting you again for any future visits.
