InCadzand bath is a small seaside resort, located just behind the dunes. It has a beautiful, wide sandy beach which is at least eleven miles long. Near our house is on the beach is a beach pavilion 'De Zeemeeuw' (The Seagull). Also there is a row of wood-built beach houses which are to rent.
The difference in beach width at low tide or high tide is quite large. At low tide you can cross the gully on foot, the water is then only up to the ankles. At high tide it is not possible.If you cross the water channel, one is on Belgian territory. Over a nearly deserted beach as you walk within an hour Knokke, even during peak season. Along the beach line is often almost fanatical search for fossil shark teeth and shells (up to 65 million years).
