Directions:

From San Jose, Costa Rica follow the Caldera Hwy to the town of Quepos. From Quepos follow the Main Rd to Manuel Antonio National Park 1K, turn left in the Villas Parjaro Azul #2 complex. Climb the hill making a sharp right turn, enter the second driveway on the left and it is the last house on that street, #209 with the spacious covered parking area.

Comments:

We stayed at Casa del Toro for three nights in March as a group of 3 single adults and one couple and would have loved to stay much longer. The house is gorgeous, clean, with a wonderful layout. We had an amazing view of the city of Quepos. The ocean view is there, but is a little obscured so was not the primary view. Tom, the house manager, was extremely helpful in setting up some excellent guides for the nature park, as well as a marvelous rafting tour. All very convenient and accessible from the house. The only issues, and they were very minor, involved the wifi which was not consistent, but it was reported that the wifi was problematic in the whole area at the time. Also would note that there is a pool directly above the pool at Casa del Toro which limits the privacy at the pool if the house above is occupied. There were a large group of college boys staying at that house and when they were out partying at the pool, you could hear them clearly. It appears that they are landscaping between the houses so that should assist with creating a more private pool area. Both of these are minor issues, but thought I would mention. Overall, we would definitely stay at this house again in the future and thank Tom for providing us with detailed information on the area and making sure all went smoothly.
