The chalet "Klein Edner" lies on a sunny slope (1170 meters altitude), in an absolutely quiet spot with stunning views over the Oberdrautal, Jauken mountain range and the Dolomites. In the valley below lies the village of Irschen, also know as the "herbal" village of Kaernten. The chalet has on the ground floor a cozy living with a traditional (wood)stove and doors opening to the terrace. A radio and satelite TV set complete the living room. The living room gives access to the sleeping room on ground level (double bed) and the kitchen with all utensils provided for. A bathroom with shower and toilet completes the ground floor. The top level provides for another two spacious bed rooms (both double bed) with each sleeping room having doors opening to the balcony and a large bathroom with shower, toilet and a washingmachine/tumble dryer.
In the area are three ski-areas within 20-30 minutes drive and plenty of hiking routes in the mountains. Major cities nearby are Lienz in Ost-Tirol and Spittal which connect to Irschen by a single track railway and busses, by car these cities are respectively 30 minutes and 40 minutes away. A winding mountain pass with stunning views will bring you in approximately 45 minutes to Italy. The Weissensee (lake area) and the Millstaettersee (lake area) are comfortably close at respectively 30 and 40 minutes drive. The Drautal where Irschen is located has excellent mountain bike routes and even a comfortable biking route through the valley along river Drau. The Leppner Alm is made for great hiking with stunning views and several Almhutte along the tracks, the hike route to Leppner Alm can be started nearby the chalet.
Bedlinen is provided for, towels and kitchen towels will have to be brought by guests. A parking lot for maximum two cars is available.
