Fjordside offers two spacious apartments in our red house turfed roof, located in quiet, rural surroundings just 20km (12miles) north of central Bergen.
This idyllic beauty spot lies in the midst of a nature area, near the sea. A swimming beach, fishing spots, and a marina are all close by, and mooring is available on a private quay. You'll enjoy a magnificent, panoramic view over the fjord with its surrounding mountains. You can relax, enjoy the view and eat breakfast in our fjordside backyard enclosed by hedges and surrounded by trees.
After exploring Bergen, the hanseatic town on the Norwegian westcoast, you can explore the several tourist attractions nearby, or rent a small boat and row across the waters of the vast fjord. Here is there are hiking trails in the area like the old postal trail Bergen to Trondheim.
By crossing the long floating-bridge, you will be amazed how much fjords and high mountains that are waiting for you!!

Directions:

North of Bergen. Drive E39 north to Åsane for about 20km until 70 speed limit zone. Turn right to Steinestø (Yellow sign just passed Hylkje). Keep right until the last house on the right side before the quay. You will see a red house with turfed roof and a white arc with no.745. The house is placed on a little top in the end of the cycle lane which also is our arrival.
